Senior Pool Liner Engineer
Do you have what it takes to be part of a team that turns empty shells into perfect pools?
We're looking for an experienced Senior Pool Liner Engineer to join our On-Site Lining (OSL) team. This is a hands-on, leadership role for someone who takes real pride in precision craftsmanship — measuring, cutting, and installing vinyl liners to exacting standards, and heat-welding seams to a finish that looks as good as it performs.
Alongside your technical work, you'll train and mentor a team of engineers on-site, helping them develop the skills and confidence to deliver the same high standard you set.
What you'll be doing
Handling, measuring, cutting and installing vinyl liners to precise measurements
Heat welding/joining vinyl using handheld heat guns to a high standard of quality and aesthetics
Training and developing new and existing engineers, supporting their full integration into the team
Travelling to sites across the country daily, leading a team to install vinyl liners into swimming pools during construction
Signing off completed OSL installations
Managing van stock efficiently
Completing detailed reports for installation or warranty issues
Spot-checking engineers and ongoing installations to maintain quality
Assisting with difficult installations and challenging customer situations
Identifying and troubleshooting problematic sites, both before and after installation
What we are looking for
An experienced professional with a well-established track record in pool lining installations
Solid knowledge and experience of swimming pool construction
A natural leader, comfortable training and mentoring less experienced engineers
Confident representing the company on-site and managing customer relationships, even in difficult situations
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites nationwide
