Certikin is currently recruiting an Onsite Lining Operative to join our experienced and growing team. This is a hands-on, field-based role working across the UK, installing high-quality vinyl liners into swimming pools during the construction phase.

The Role

As an Onsite Lining Operative, you will be responsible for:

• Handling, measuring, and cutting vinyl liners to precise specifications

• Heat welding and joining vinyl using handheld heat guns

• Ensuring a high-quality, visually impressive finished product

• Working closely with a teammate as part of a two-person onsite lining team

• Meeting tight deadlines while maintaining excellent workmanship

You will receive full 1:1 training from experienced colleagues who will support your development and help you build confidence quickly in the role.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Previous hands-on or practical experience (construction, trades, or similar preferred)

• A positive attitude and strong work ethic

• Good communication skills

• The ability to work to tight deadlines

• A high level of flexibility with working hours

• Willingness to travel nationwide, including regular overnight stays

• A full UK driving licence (essential)

• Regular overnight stays will be necessary

• All overtime is paid at time and a half

• Accommodation and evening meals are covered under our expenses policy
