Senior Controller - IT & Corporate
Fluidra is looking for a Senior Controller to join our Corporate Finance team in our Sant Cugat office. WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
Reporting into the Head of Corporate Controlling, the Senior Controller is a hands-on technical role responsible for leading the controlling activities of IT and providing financial support to Corporate Functions (Taxes, Legal, Internal Audit).
The role ensures the proper financial management of a high IT budget, strong analytical insights for decision-making, and effective governance of multiple strategic projects.
The position combines strong technical execution, autonomy and continuous experimentation.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Act as the Financial Business Partner for IT, leading the budgeting, forecasting and cost-control activities of the area.
• Oversee the financial performance of multiple IT projects, including infrastructure, digitalization and SAP implementation initiatives.
• Provide financial support and visibility to Corporate Functions (Taxes, Legal, Internal Audit), ensuring accurate budget follow-up.
• Prepare financial reports, variance analysis and presentations for executive leadership and committees.
• Coordinate the activity of two junior controllers, ensuring high‑quality deliverables while maintaining a hands‑on approach.
• Challenge assumptions, identify efficiency opportunities and proactively support decision-making.
• Ensure correct use of financial tools (SAP, EPM) and contribute to continuous process improvement.
WHAT WE SEEK
Education
• Master’s degree from an accredited institution, with degree preferred in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business Administration.
Experience
• Experience in multinational environments, preferably in Industrial / Manufacturing companies.
• 7–10 years of professional experience in financial controlling, audit or similar roles.
• Strong background in audit (Big4 or equivalent) followed by experience in corporate/industry roles is a plus.
• Experience working with SAP / EPM tools.
• Prior exposure to IT financial management or project controlling is highly desirable.

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a pragmatic approach focused on business value.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills with both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• High level of autonomy, resilience, and ability to work under pressure in a demanding environment.
• Hands-on mindset with the ability to move between operational detail and strategic analysis.
• Strong team player, collaborative, and adaptable.
• Curiosity and continuous learning mindset.
Languages
English and Spanish at proficiency level.
