Mission:
The Senior Controller – Global CPO Area plays a key role in providing financial leadership and strategic insight across the global Product organization.
This position partners closely with the Chief Product Officer (CPO) and global Product teams to drive performance, ensure financial rigor, and support data-driven decision-making aligned with Fluidra’s strategic objectives.
The role combines strong analytical capabilities, international financial expertise, and a proactive business-partnering approach to optimize the efficiency, profitability, and scalability of the Product function globally.
Your responsibilities:
- Act as a financial business partner to the Global Product organization, providing guidance on budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring.
- Lead the financial planning and analysis for the CPO area: annual budget, quarterly forecasts, long-term plan, and monthly reporting.
- Analyze product margins, cost structures, and operational KPIs, identifying opportunities for optimization and supporting pricing and profitability initiatives.
- Partner with Product, R&D, and Operations teams to evaluate investment cases, product development initiatives, and cost-to-serve analyses.
- Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of financial reporting for the Product area, consolidating data from multiple business units and geographies.
- Provide regular insights and recommendations to support strategic and operational decisions, linking financial results with business performance.
- Collaborate with Corporate FP&A, Controlling, and Finance teams to ensure alignment with group-wide policies, accounting standards (IFRS), and management reporting processes.
- Support transformation and simplification initiatives within the Product organization, ensuring resource allocation aligns with strategic priorities.
- Participate in cross-functional projects to strengthen financial governance, process efficiency, and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, EPM).
- Prepare presentations and analyses for senior management and executive reviews.
Key Requirements:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
Master’s degree or MBA preferred. - 6–7 years of experience as a Financial Controller, FP&A Manager, or similar role in a multinational and global context.
- Proven experience supporting corporate or global functional areas (Product, Marketing, R&D, or Operations).
- Solid understanding of financial reporting, analysis, and consolidation processes.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and ERP/Reporting systems (SAP, Movex, Cognos, EPM, etc.).
- Deep knowledge of IFRS and group reporting standards.
- Fluency in English (C1–C2 level); Spanish is a plus.
- Experience working in matrix and multicultural environments.
