Mission:
The selected candidate will be part of the in-house legal team and will report directly to the General Counsel EMEA & ANZ/ASIA and Deputy Secretary of the Board. He/she will work closely with the Group’s business teams and external legal advisors.
We are looking for a lawyer with a solid background in commercial law and a strong interest in technology and digital environments, willing to deepen their expertise in the legal field of artificial intelligence and its practical application. In addition, we value experience (or an interest in developing it) in corporate governance, securities markets, and stock market compliance.
Your responsibilities:
Corporate Legal Advice (HQ)
- Corporate management of the Group’s holding companies.
- Legal advice to the various corporate departments (IT, Finance, CSC, R&D, IR, Controlling, Sustainability, Procurement, Communications, People, H&S, etc.).
- Negotiation and drafting of national and international commercial contracts, with a particular focus on technology and digital contracts.
- Support in the legal management of the Group’s corporate financing.
- Promotion and coordination of legal compliance in artificial intelligence and digital transformation matters across the Group:
- Advise on the application of European and national legal frameworks related to AI (AI Act, GDPR, liability, transparency, governance, etc.) and coordinate training and/or awareness initiatives.
- Drive the implementation of internal policies on the responsible and ethical use of artificial intelligence within the Group.
- Collaborate with the Cybersecurity, Compliance, Data Protection, Transformation Office, and Artificial Intelligence departments on projects involving AI components.
- Participate in innovation and digital transformation initiatives led by the Legal Operations area, contributing to the integration of technological solutions into legal practice.
Corporate Governance and Stock Market Compliance
- Legal advice on all matters related to Fluidra’s listing on the Ibex 35.
- Monitoring of obligations with the CNMV (insider lists, treasury stock, significant holdings, shareholders’ agreements, communications, responses to requests, etc.).
- Drafting of the Annual Corporate Governance Report and the legal sections of the Integrated Annual Report.
- Coordination with finance and communication teams for the preparation of financial and regulatory reports.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need a positive attitude and the following:
Education:
- Law degree and admission to practice law.
- Master’s in Company Law or complementary training in International or Business Law, especially in Corporate Governance and Stock Market Compliance (preferred).
Experience:
- 2–4 years in a similar position, preferably in an international environment or a top-tier law firm.
Languages:
- High level of English (C1–C2). Other languages will be valued.
