🎯 The position:
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Regional Product Marketing Manager to lead the Cleaning category (manual and automatic) within the pool industry.
This position plays a pivotal role in shaping the regional business strategy, ensuring the right product portfolio, positioning, and go-to-market excellence across key international markets.
As the bridge between global product strategy and local market execution, you will collaborate cross-functionally with Global Product Management (CPO), Sales, Local Marketing, Supply Chain, and Global Digital teams to drive profitable growth and reinforce Fluidra’s category leadership.
📑 Main accountabilities:
Your role will cover three main areas: Product Marketing & Strategy, Go-to-Market, and Strategic Impact.
1) Product Marketing & Strategy 🧩
Market & Consumer Analysis:
- Analyze and monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and pricing dynamics to anticipate opportunities and challenges.
- Build strong market knowledge focused on:
- Consumer purchase and usage behavior.
- Competitive environment and benchmarks.
- Trends within and beyond the pool industry.
- Feedback from commercial teams.
Portfolio & Roadmap:
- Identify product needs and opportunities to strengthen and expand a competitive, profitable portfolio.
- Define and manage the regional product roadmap in alignment with Global Product Management (CPO).
- Collaborate closely with local sales teams to collect insights and define market-fit actions, translating them into actionable recommendations for product development, adaptation, and lifecycle management.
Positioning & Pricing:
- Define and update positioning and pricing strategies in collaboration with the Revenue Growth Management and local sales teams.
Lifecycle Management:
- Oversee the full product lifecycle, ensuring SKU optimization, healthy inventory levels, and portfolio efficiency.
- Support forecasting activities with a strategic view of market evolution and competitor activity.
2) Go-to-Market 🚀
- Lead the regional implementation of new products, coordinating launch plans and go-to-market initiatives to ensure successful adoption across channels.
- Develop and maintain sales tools and value-selling materials such as benchmarks, product overviews, and sales pitches.
- Drive sales enablement programs that empower sales teams and partners to effectively communicate product value and differentiation.
- Provide guidance and support to the MarCom and Training teams for B2B and B2C communication materials, including annual catalogs, product visuals, brochures and leaflets, videos and digital content
- Ensure accurate and consistent content updates across platforms (PIM, brand websites, etc.).
- Monitor user satisfaction through reviews, social media, and sales feedback.
- Design and deliver training programs for sales teams, distributors, and partners to enhance product knowledge and adoption.
3) Strategic Impact 💡
- Act as the regional business owner for the Cleaning category, ensuring alignment between market needs, product strategy, and business goals.
- Champion the B2C, B2B2C, and D2C strategies, adapting positioning and go-to-market approaches to fit each channel’s dynamics.
- Contribute to long-term category growth and brand leadership through data-driven insights, innovation, and strategic collaboration.
🌟 What we expect from you:
- Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Economics, ideally with a specialization in Marketing or Business Strategy.
- +5 years of experience in product or category marketing, preferably within consumer goods, home appliances, or pool/outdoor categories.
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Knowledgeable in Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint and experience using data-driven insights for decision-making.
- Understanding of e-commerce and marketplace dynamics.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
- Positive, proactive mindset with strong organizational skills.
- Willingness to travel internationally to engage with sales teams, partners, and industry events.
