Mission:
The Demand Planner will be responsible for developing and managing demand forecasts to ensure product availability, optimize inventory levels, and improve forecast accuracy. This role will work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to align demand plans with business strategy and market requirements.
Your responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain short-, mid- and long-term demand forecasts.
- Analyze sales trends, historical data, and market insights to generate accurate demand plans.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to incorporate campaign activities, product launches, and promotions into demand forecasts.
- Identify risks and opportunities in the supply chain and recommend corrective or preventive actions.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (forecast accuracy, inventory levels, service levels).
- Actively participate in the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, providing insights and support for decision-making.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for management on demand performance and variances.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need a positive attitude and the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain, or related functions.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with planning tools (SAP APO, Anaplan, Kinaxis, etc.) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across teams.
- High level of English (additional languages are a plus).
