Mission:
Fluidra, a global leader in the swimming pool and wellness market, is seeking a Technical Product Owner Junior to join our dynamic team at our headquarters in Barcelona. This role involves assisting in the management and delivery of digital products, ensuring they meet market demands, technical specifications, and align with Fluidra’s business objectives. The Technical Product Owner Junior will work closely with senior product owners and cross-functional teams to develop technical product roadmaps, gather and prioritise requirements, and contribute to successful product launches.
Your responsibilities:
Technical Product Roadmap Development: Support the creation and maintenance of product roadmaps that align with Fluidra’s strategic goals and market demands.
Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with Technical Manager, cross-functional Product Team, and the technical staff, to gather, document, and refine product requirements and user stories.
Backlog Management: Assist in managing the product backlog, prioritising features, enhancements, and bug fixes based on business value and technical feasibility.
Sprint Planning: Participate in sprint planning sessions, ensuring development teams understand the product vision and requirements.
Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate product status, progress, and changes to stakeholders.
Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive products, informing product development.
User Acceptance Testing: Help organise and conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure products meet required standards before release.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of product features, functionalities, and development progress.
Support: Provide support to development teams by answering questions, clarifying requirements, and resolving issues.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need a positive attitude and the following:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a related role, such as product management, business analysis, or software development.
Technical Skills: Basic understanding of software development processes, agile methodologies, and technical concepts.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to understand and translate business needs into technical requirements.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders and development teams.
Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail and organisational skills to manage product documentation and backlog.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications: Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or other relevant certifications.
Experience: Prior experience in digital or IoT product management is a plus.
Tools: Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Trello).
