Mission:
The Master Data Owner is accountable for the integrity, quality, and governance of specific master data elements within a specific domain. This role involves defining data standards, ensuring compliance with data policies, and collaborating with stakeholders to optimize data usability and accuracy
Your responsibilities:
- Define and maintain data standards and policies for assigned master data elements
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across systems and processes
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and priorities
- Establish data governance processes and controls to support data quality objectives
- Lead data quality initiatives, including cleansing, enrichment and validation efforts
- Monitor and report on data quality metrics and KPIs
- Serve as a subject matter expert and point of contact for master data-related inquiries
- Provide guidance and support to data stewards and other stakeholder
To succeed in this role, you’ll need a positive attitude and the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field
- >8 years of experience in master data management or in specific domain
- Deep domain understanding
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Certification in data management or related disciplines is a plus
